FAQ
How many photographers will there be at our wedding?
Two. Brothers Robert and Andrew. We work together so that we can offer full and exclusive coverage for our clients. This is a key to our success. We do not believe that it is possible for a single photographer working alone to be able to achieve our high standards and quality of coverage.
How many photographs do you take?
We have no set limit to the number of images taken on your wedding day. We work quietly and unobtrusively, making sure that you have plenty of time to mingle with your guests and celebrate your special day. The quantity of images taken is influenced by several factors, such as the number guests present, locations, weather and the length of time between the ceremony and the wedding reception.
How long will you stay with us on our wedding day?
Typically, the day will begin with us meeting the Groom and his Groomsmen at the ceremony venue. We can also visit both the brides and the grooms homes prior to the ceremony, and even attend the hair salon whilst the bride has her hair styled. Coverage is flexible by prior agreement, and usually lasts until the beginning of the reception meal or shortly after.
Do you take any traditional formal wedding photographs?
Yes. We believe that your album would be incomplete without a small number of family group photographs. Your album will become an important archive of images of your loved ones for future generations. All of the family groups are at the request of the couple. Photographs of the bridal party are included as standard coverage in all of our packages.
Do you use digital cameras?
Yes. We use professional Nikon digital SLR cameras and lenses, which provide much greater detail and quality than high street consumer models. Digital capture and output has now reached a level of quality that far exceeds traditional methods. This has been scientifically proven and it is universally accepted within the industry that digital image quality and the archival properties of digital prints is vastly superior to conventional film-based processes. Digital capture also offers far greater creative control, especially in changing lighting conditions, than film is capable of.
Do you provide colour and black and white images?
Yes, we provide both colour and black and white images, which are an ideal medium for our unique style. We will also provide a large selection of sepia and colour toned images.
How do we see previews of our wedding photographs?
We will produce preview montage page layouts including any photographs we feel are appropriate to the look and feel of the album, and present these to you in either CD-ROM or printed form. You can then choose to add or remove photographs from these page layouts. We will provide 'contact sheets' showing all photographs taken on the day to enable to to choose. Example below:
